Benefits of Swimming for Children. Every parent should be aware of the importance and benefits of swimming for the child. After the child spends nine months in the mother's womb, actually returning to the water is something natural.

Swimming is a sport with minimal possibility of bodily injury compared to other types of sports. The pool is a good aerobic exercise place without applying additional weight to the bones and joints.

Swimming is very beneficial for children with health problems. Overweight children can do easier sports by swimming than walking, running or playing badminton.

Similarly, children with asthma are less likely to have an asthma attack while swimming than other forms of exercise. Swimming makes breathing easier due to the humid air.
