How to Treat Sensitive Skin Appropriately

Each skin type has different challenges to treat it with no exception sensitive skin. Everyone has different skin types, and the treatments are different too. It is important to keep the skin beautiful and healthy.

There are so many sensitive skin trigger factors, ranging from the environment, allergies to the content of certain products, side effects of the drug, and so on. Of course, you need to know the skin type in order for the treatment to be more appropriate

Unhealthy skin can cause acne, especially rarely cleansed. To prevent a reaction that makes the skin breakout and reddish need the right way.

1. Avoid using too many products and content

Less is more. This seems to be a great way to choose a care product for sensitive skin owners. By reducing the content contained in the product will reduce the risk of acne face

Avoid using too many facial care products. Just use a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Excessive use of the product will reduce the benefits of the product itself.

Especially for sensitive skin types is not required to use many products at once. This minimizes the reaction if you turn out to have allergies to certain products such as fragrance.

2. Do not be tempted to excessively cleanse or exfoliate the face

Excessive facial cleansing will only reduce natural oil on the face. There is a type of oil that is precisely needed by the face. If this happens then the body will work hard and trigger the appearance of oil excessively so as to make the face can breakout.

If you have sensitive skin then a patch test is mandatory when you want to use a new treatment product. Try to apply the contents of the product in the back area of the ear or in the hand then leave it overnight. If your skin does not react then the product is safe to use.

4. Find out which content triggers skin reactions

Usually content such as fragrance, parabens, sulfate, alcohol, and dyes are triggers for reactions such as acne and redness on sensitive skin.

Therefore, before you use facial care products, find out in advance the content that may be the trigger for the skin to become sensitive.

5. If a bad reaction appears on the skin, pause the use of facial care products

If you are already careful but still have acne or redness on the skin should stop using treatment products one by one.

At least do this for a week to find out what triggered the reaction. However, if you still can't find the trigger, try visiting a trusted dermatologist.
