Tips to Make Your Skin Brighter and Smoother

The skin is an important part of the body to take care of. Speaking of skin, it is usually the skin of the face that is the main focus of many people. Even so, never forget the health of the body's skin as well. Maintaining skin health can be done in a variety of ways.

With regular and maximum care, you can also make your skin healthier, brighter & smoother. So you will be more confident in living the days and meeting people.

1. Rub the skin before bathing

Another way to keep the skin bright is to rub it. Rubbing the skin before bathing is a simple way to whiten dull skin. This process will remove the layer of dead skin cells. The skin can also regenerate and the top layer is always filled with healthy new cells.

Choose a brush with a long handle that can reach the entire body. Use a scrub brush made of natural fibers. After that, follow these steps:

  1. Start rubbing from the soles of the feet, then move upwards.
  2. Rub the skin with a clockwise rotating motion.
  3. Gently rub on thin skin and put less pressure on thicker skin such as the soles of the feet.
  4. After rubbing the entire leg, rub the entire arm up to the armpits.

2. Avoid bathing in hot water, shower with cold water

Bathing is one way to clean dirty skin. If you want to have clean, shiny skin, the solution is to bathe in cold water. A cold shower can narrow the blood vessels temporarily on the skin thereby reducing pores and reducing the redness of the skin.

Ever-clean skin from dirt will make you look whiter and brighter. Dirt is the main cause of dull skin. Closing pores can also prevent impurities from getting in easily.

3. Using sunscreen

UVA rays, which account for 95 percent of radiation to the Earth's surface can cause wrinkles, sun spots, and other types of premature aging. While exposure to UVB rays can affect the upper layer of the skin causing skin and skin cancer to burn.

There are many reasons why you are recommended to use sunscreen to maintain skin health. Because all kinds of UV radiation have the potential to damage the skin.

If you want to have healthy skin until old age, then it is mandatory for you to apply sunscreen, both outdoors and indoors.

4. Use body lotion regularly

By applying body lotion every day, the rough skin on the elbows and knees will also feel softer. Not only that, but body lotion can also make the body's body more radiant because body lotion can give a light effect on the skin.

Body lotion does have many benefits for skin health. One of them is believed to soften the skin on areas of the body that have a rougher and thicker type, such as elbows and knees.

Some types of body lotions can even brighten the skin instantly. That way, the skin looks fresher and brighter.

5. Regularly exfoliate the skin of the body periodically

Basically, the skin can naturally release dead skin cells to make room for new cells every 28 days or so. However, sometimes dead cells cannot be completely detached, causing the skin to dry, scaly, and pores clogged.

Based on the American Academy of Dermatology, exfoliation could make skin appear brighter. Therefore, exfoliation is needed to prevent various skin problems.

Body scrubs with natural ingredients such as apricot and olives are proven to be good for the skin. For that, use a body scrub one to two times a week to exfoliate dead skin.
